How We Handle Residential Water Damage Restoration
Flow state restoration coordinates with multiple contractors and follows established processes while minimizing disruption to your life.
Step 1: Emergency Response
Within an hour, our team arrives to assess damage scope and stop active water sources. We photograph everything for insurance, create detailed moisture maps and establish a restoration plan.
Step 2: Extract Water Throughout Home
Using truck-mounted and portable extractors, we remove standing water from all affected areas. Different surfaces need different approaches – carpet, tile, hardwood, and concrete each require specific extraction methods. We protect unaffected areas with plastic barriers to prevent secondary damage.
Step 3: Remove Damaged Materials
Water-damaged drywall gets flood cuts 12-24 inches above water lines. Soaked insulation, damaged flooring and compromised baseboards are taken out.
Step 4: Dry -> Sanitise -> Rebuild
Commercial drying equipment runs until your home reaches proper moisture levels. We treat affected areas with antimicrobials to prevent mold. Once dry, reconstruction begins – new drywall, paint, flooring, whatever it takes. We coordinate with all contractors and maintain consistent communication until your home looks like water damage never happened.
